What a very good idea. They don't bother the horse at all if he isn't pawing, but when they start digging, it's just really annoying to them. So they stop!! My pony only pawed when I walked away from him, so all other training was ineffective. These pinpoint the problem directly. I like how they are easy to get on and off, tooI use these on one pony, and I just bought larger U shaped brackets from tractor supply, and made my own for another horse. They also work just as well!
